WIndows 2003 Folder Sharing Security Rights

I have two folders that are shared on my windows 2003 file server.  This server is part of a domain.  I am currently experiencing a problem with one specific user.  When the try to save files to that directory they are given the following error message:The folder is marked as 'Read Only'

I have verified that the persons active directory name has been given Full Access to the folder.  I even attempted to try to give rights through groups.  It still doesn't work for that person.
