command line tools to modify active directory attributes (same as adsiedit) ?

Asked by papango in Active Directory, Windows 2003 Server

hello

i have to raise the functional level of the forest of my company to windows 2003 server and it has several domains and subdomains. Rather than using the GUI i would like to script it using cmd batch.
I would like to set the "msds-behavior-version" from 1 to 2 using command line utilities such as repadmin, dsmod or something similar.

Wich one could i use the best to achieve this ?
Do they return understandable error levels ?
