Home drive not mapping

Asked by robertpw in Active Directory, Exchange Email Server, Microsoft Server

I have had a strange issue today with a user account.

In the AD I have set the user a home drive with a mapping, but when they log in the home drive is not mapped.  Once they are logged in if I copy and paste the path I have put in the AD they can access thier home drive with no problems.  This I believe rules out any problem with permissions on the home drive or any spelling mistakes I may have made.

As I investigated further if I placed a mapping to the home drive in the login script we use to map other drives it works.  It also works fine if I make the user a domain admin, but that is certainly not a solution.

Thanks
