Windows Server 2003 DNS DHCP

Asked by Syngin9 in Active Directory, Windows 2003 Server

Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of an issue with communication between my DHCP and DNS services on a Windows 2003 server.

The DHCP service is notifying the DNS server about all ip updates and the domain's forward lookup zone is being updated correctly.  For one of the scopes (for wired workstations), the reverse lookup zone is not being updated.

The 3 other scopes I have (multiple vlans for VoIP and wireless etc) are updating fine but I can't find the setting that is holding back reverse lookup updates for the one scope.

Any thoughts on what the issue might be or where the setting I overlooked might be?
