The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Problems after upgrading 2000 dc to 2003, not showing exchange icon in users profile but on exchange 2003 they do.

Okay everyone i noticed another problem in my test environment just now which im trying to clear up everything.   I started out with 3 domain controllers running windows 2000 AD with exchange 5.5  I recently upgraded the 2000 DC to 2003 and everything is replicating fine in sites and services.  I recently just setup a new 2003 server with exchange server 2003 and migrated all accounts from the 5.5 server using the exchange task wizard.  Now on all the ADS in sites and services, i see the exchange 2003 machine there and it shows the ADC connector.  Now on the exchange server when i go to start, program files, microsoft exchange, active directory users and computers the 168 objects show up and all the accounts.  Then when i right click on a profile and go to properties and i can see the exchange icon with the email address, or if i create a new user it will ask me if i want to create an exchange email and i do.  The funny thing is, all the email addresses show up on there but not on any of my 3 domains that i upgraded to 2003.  Now when i go and create a new user on any of the 2003 dc, i can go to the exchange machine and open up active directory users and computers and the new name will show up but no email icon of course.   Also, if i create a new user on the exchange machine, it shows up on the all 3 of the dcs but with no exchange icon.  It shows all the dcs replicating fine.  I am not seeing no event errors anywhere.  Someone please help me take care of this.

thanks,
