Hello,
Is it recommended/necessary that I change my domain from .com to .local?
Here are some details about our set up:
We host a website (which has the same name as our domain) through an ISP.
We have Exchange server, with MX records of ISP pointing to our static IP.
Currently we have about 50 users.
Will there be any problems if I leave it as .com? Anything I would need to change in Exchange? I have purchased an SSL certificate (for RPC over HTTPS) and have read that if I install it on .com and then change to .local it will not be valid anymore. Is this correct?
So far, the only issue I have encountered, was that I couldn't access our ISP hosted website from within our network. I resolved that by creating a DNS record with "www".
Is it worth making the change?
Thanks in advance.
