Forest Trust

Asked by ENTPF in Active Directory, Windows 2000 Operating System, Windows 2003 Server

I want to set up a forest trust between forest A (Windows 2003) and forest B (Windows 2000).  When  I attempt to set it up from forest B, I get the following error:
The DomainName domain cannot be contacted. If this domain is a Windows domain, the trust cannot be set up until the domain is contacted. Click Cancel and try again later. If this is an interoperable non-Windows Kerberos realm and you want to set up this side of the trust, click OK.

I have setup the recommended LMhost file and secondary DNS zone in forest B.  I can ping the domain in forest A from forest B with no issue.  I have done everything in:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312003.
