Yes sir. It shows the logon script.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have a .vbs script that does a few basic things such as map network drives and install printers. The script used to work domain - wide. It has since stopped working for all users via GPO. If I run the script locally it works completely fine. Both DCs are win2k3.
I do not see any useful errors in the event log or anywhere else, both on client and servers.
I have checked the replication between domain controllers and the proper script has replicated to the SYSVOL share.
Any idea what could be causing this? Please let me know if there's more information you may need to narrow this down.
Thanks!

I was finally able to resolve this issue. I tried setting 'slow link detection' to enabled with connection speed of 300Kbps and also enabled 'Scripts policy processing' to enabled with Allow processing across a slow network connection. These did not work in my case.
I had to break down and disable Fast Logon Optimization. To do so follow the following steps.
In group policy:
1. Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Logon
2. Double click 'Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon'
3. Click 'Enabled' and apply the new settings.
4. Restart the client computer and it should work.
There's gotta be a better way, but this resolved it for me at least.

If you run rsop.msc on a client PC does this show that the login script should be applied?
