Exchange 2007 on SBS2008 stops inexpectedly

Hi all,

Server : SBS2008 with Exchange2007.  I believe I hacve some AD topology issues that need fixing but I can't detect where.

Regularly (about once a week) the Exchange services stop and throw errors such as :
- MSExchange ADAccess. Process MAD.EXE (PID=2228). All Domain Controller Servers in use are not responding:
BVHSBS08.BoydHVW.local

- MSExchangeTransportLogSearch. Microsoft Exchange couldn't read the configuration from the Active Directory directory service because of error: Failed to load config due to exception: Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.ADTransientException: Could not find any available Domain Controller.

- MSExchange Autodiscover. Unhandled Exception "Could not find any available Domain Controller."

- MSExchange ActiveSync. Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.ADTransientException: Could not find any available Global Catalog in forest BoydHVW.local.

The the Information Store stops obviously.  Restarting the server fixes it, until the next time...

I ran DcDiag /S and the output gaave me a few errors such as :

- Error : Starting test: NCSecDesc "Error NT AUTHORITY\ENTERPRISE DOMAIN CONTROLLERS doesn't have Replicating Directory Changes In Filtered Set"
The solution : AdPrep /RoDCPrep seemed to have fixed it.  A second DcDiag does not show any more errors on the NCSecDesc test.

- Error : Starting test: SystemLog "EvtFormatMessage failed, error 15100 Win32 Error 15100"
I tried this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc774175.aspx but it does not seem to have any effect.

The server was a migration of an SBS2003, I clearly have some mismatch in my AD Topology but I can't find them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Where to browse on a Windows SBS 2008 DVD, So I am able to run setup.com /prepareAD?
This is certainly not a fix for the errors listed in this forum. setup.com/preparead is something you run before exchange 2007 install on a brand new install of exchange 2007 on SBS 2008 it is not required.

I have seen this same glitch in 3 SBS fresh installs up until now and believe its a glitch which Microsoft needs to fix.
