Step-by-Step Guide to Implementing Domain Rename
I've only played with this in a lab..never done it on any of my production domains.
Thanks
Mike
I am operating a Windows Server 2003 based domain at a remote lab location. The lab has been purchased by a new company and I need to change the active directory domain name in the lab. What I am looking for is someone to walk me through the process required to accomplish this.
The lab domain includes:
System 1
Domain controller
DNS Server
System 2
Backup domain controller
~20 more member systems
If you need more detail to guide me through this, or have any questions please tell me what you need.
