They are contractors working in IT. They build systems. I can'r make then Domain Admins for obvious reasons. is there anything else that can be done?

They don't need to be domain admins.They need to be local admins on the machines.Create a new OU for the new machines that are being build.Add the contractors as local admins on the machines through group policy.So that they can add other users as local admins.As soon as they add other users as local admins move the workstation to a another OU.
