I have two domains with two exchange servers, what are the proper steps to consolidate into one existing domain and move exchange mailboxes to existing domain on new exchange server?

current setup 2 forest/domain consolidating into 1 forest/domain, new exchange server in domain for moving exchange maiboxes from exchange being consumed.  What are the proper steps:
1)  place DCs for existing domain
2)  New exchange built in domain
3)  ADMT user accounts to existing domain
4)  exchange migrate mailboxes and content
5)  migrate computers, printers

you have 2 domains in 2 forest, each domain has an exchange server.

are you trying to consolidate to one of these domains or creating a 3rd domain/forest ?

Consolidating into 1 existing forest/domain.  Exchange is not on it's own domain.  For example DomainB is consolidating into existing DomainA.  We are pulling DomainB users, computers and exchange into DomainA but the exchange is staying on a separate Exchange server so there will be two exchange servers at two locations.

I see so what you wrote is a sound plan to me

1) Place DCs for DomainA into site of current DomainB
2) Install Exchange part of DomainA in site of DomainB
3) Install and configure ADMT
4) migrate users
5) move mailboxes
6) migrate computers/printers
