Minimizing Active Directory replication across WAN.

We have a AD Win 2008 server across the WAN at our DR site, we have about 35 staff and little changes, how do I configure the AD to replicate only once a week?

A few ways to do this, in your case you can build a new site and either have it replicate every week,

in your case stop after "Move the new dc to the defined lag site"

You still want it to advertise as a DC so you don't want to delete DNS records and the other steps, but you do want to just replicate once a week.
