Appending an email address and making it primary
What do you suppose the best way is to "ADD" an email address to an account and make it primary?
I do not want to modify the recipient policy in Exchange becuase it is only affecting 700 of 26000 users. I need to add an email address to certain accounts in certain positions. For Example:
John.Doe is a member of the HR dept and his email address is John.Doe@...
I need to give him an email address of John.Doe.HR@
DSMOD USER only sets the email address but the recipient policy may overwrite it and it doesn't "append" the email address to the existing addresses. I need to leave current addresses in as secondaries.
LDIFDE may work, but it's not easy to manipulate the data becuase it doesn't pipe in to excel easily.
Recommendations?

Anything off the internet may be unacceptable. We are trying to use the tools provided with the system to append the addresses. I appreciate the suggestion, but we have to stick with what is currently available without externally developed tools.
What version of Exchange?

Awesome. I may have to learn a little bit of VB but at least I have something to start with. THANKS!!!
It has a command line tool you may be able to leverage with Excel.
