Domain removing Internet Explorer 9
We pushed out IE9 with WSUS after testing and all seemed fine.
One major website we use for management turns out to be incompatible and portions of the site don't work well (if at all) under IE9 - even in compatibility mode!
The company is updating the site base (hosted web solution/package) eventually with new features & IE9 support but for now we have to (shudder) roll back to IE8 on all our Windows 7 & Vista machines. Apart from going to every PC manually, is there a quicker way?
Also the IE9 rollout for WSUS (although manually installed worked fine) causes IE9 in Vista to immediately crash (regarless of plugins, etc). More reason to boot it off!

This is why I have a copy of Firefox on most of our machines as a backup browser. IE is still the default, but Firefox is one they can use if there are compatibility issues.

Thanks joinaunion. I forgot about that one. There were some WSUS errors but hopefully it will weed out 90% of the issue..
WSUS does not support removal of IE9 so this solution doesn't work.

You can also disable IE9 from installing and then push out a group policy script to force IE9 to uninstall/roll back however it's not the best way of doing it.. It does lead to complications also. Thankfully MS fixed IE9 for Vista and the other crappy sites we had issues with are now HTML5 compliant.
Maybe more update for IE9 have come out since then,...maybe they may fix your issue if you approve those updates too. Also have you tried IE9 with those problem sites set in Compatibility Mode?
