Outlook continually prompting for username and password

Hi Experts,

I have a problem in exchange 2010 environment,where MS Outlook continuously asks for user name and password to authenticate the user for exchange…but its not for all users some users only.one more thing i want to tell you when i creating new profile in outlook its automatically enabling outlook any where settings .

Please help  me

do the following steps
1. if the client is member of your domain network the could be resolve by simply doing a pc reboot
2. if your  client is not a member of domain but in your local network then type user name as youdomain\username and password
3. if pc is on external network then you have to use your UPN name to login on outlook like user name as you@yourdomain.com and passowrd
4. in some certain network conditions outlook may prompts for user name and password just for that please check this kb article:- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/956531

Thanks  AhmedHERMI,

But i already checked above thing ,both server and outlook side i selected basic auth only..but one thing i tell you when i create a new profile in outlook anywhere option automatically enabled.also "only connect to my proxy server that have this principle name in there certificate" is enabled.

A configuration problem which can cause Outlook when used with Exchange 2010 to cause a similar issue.

This is caused by a mismatch in the configuration of Exchange and Outlook.

If one is set to Basic Authentication for RPC-HTTPS and the other for NTLM authentication it will cause this problem.

To resolve this, using the Exchange Management Console under Server Configuration right click on the server providing the Client Access role and select properties.  Under the Outlook Anywhere tab check the authentication methods.  Make a note of how it’s set.

Then, in Outlook goto Tools > Account Settings.  Highlight the account configured to use Microsoft Exchange and select properties.

Under advanced and connection settings at the bottom of the screen is the authentication setting in use.

Make sure they are the same.
