Configure FTP Client to Find Filezilla Server on VPS
[newbie alert]
I'm currently using a commercial FTP client (non FTPS) as client on my development machine linking to the default FTP site on IIS on the hosted remote VPS that I'm renting.
For the link, I'm using these parameters in the client
> ftp://(VPS's DNS number)
> a password associated with a User that's linked to the default FTP site in IIS on the hosted VPS
Works fine.
I don't know how to connect the client to Filezilla Server. Some specific questions are:
1) What (in general) are the equivalent parameters to cause the client to find Filezilla on the VPS? (I'm going to be using FTPS, as soon as I get my cert files).
a) ftp://??
b) password?? user??
2) Do I need to do anything with IIS on the VPS to facilitate the client/ Filezilla Server link?
Any guidance on this would be appreciated.
Thanks!
