We have a computer here at work, that just went down this morning. It was working fine then it went black. It was still running though. So I powered down, and when it comes back up it shows the Windows screen and logo, then pauses for a brief second and goes black. I can open cd tray so it is still running. I booted to safe mode and everything appears okay. I tried restoring to a last know good config. and when it boots up it goes black at the same point. What could this be? I wondered if it was the video card, but would it even show the windows logo if this was it? This computer shows our video survellance here at work, so It requires a lot to reload windows and all other devices. Video survellance is all it does. Anyway, any suggestions or ideas..Thanks ~a
