what type of website is it? it could be that you put files in different dir or that you need to restart the web server processes

I added new files to a existing website but the files I added are not showing up on the site pages. What do I have to do to make the new files work with site?

im not sure im reading this right, but it sounds like you uploaded some files (not webpages) to a website and your wanting your website to automatically detect this has happened?
if so that wont happen, for a website to list its files you would need to create a webpage with links to the files in your site
OR
setup FTP that way you can browse to FTP://yoursite and see all the files there
OR
manually type in the links to the files
www.mywebpage.com/files/th
www.mywebpage.com/files/vi
and send those links to the relevant people?
