How do I move Samba configuration to a new server?

In two days I am installing a new Samba server. This server is our samba server and file server. I would like to move the samaba configuration. What is the proper procedure for doing that? We use an OpenLdap backend, but that database is on another server. Do I just need to copy my configuration files and backup the smbpasswd files? Can you please explain the appropriate method for doing that?

The current version of samba is 3.0.22-2
