Track open files

Asked by Feedler in Active Directory, Windows 2000 Operating System

Hi,

Our company policy is to log off the computers at the end of each weekday and shut down the computers on the weekend.  Some poeple are not following this policy and because of this some important files are not being backed up because they are in use.  I would like to track down who is still in these files when it is time to run the backup.

When I look under Computer Management->Shared Folders->Open Files I can choose to export list.  Is there a way to schedule this task or another soluntion someone might have?

Thanks in advance.Start Free Trial
