Searching a fileserver through a shared drive

Hello,
Does anyone have any advice on a suitable bit of software which would enable about 50 or so users to search a network share containing about 80 gigabytes of various files (mainly word and excel docs)  I have looked at googles offerings, but would prefer not to have to buy any hardware.
Ideally I would like to install the search software on the server, so it only makes one search index, rather then an index on each PC.  I am currently looking into Windows Desktop Search at the moment, but would appreciate any advice

Thanks in advance.Start Free Trial
