One user started experiencing the following problem a couple of weeks ago:
she logs into the network and everything works fine
after logging out of the network and trying to login again, she finds that her acct. has been locked, then we just unlock her acct. in active dir. on the server and she is fine again until logging out
she also has trouble receiving her destop icons from the server (her desktop is stored in her home folder on server) about every other login - she just keeps trying and then all is well again
Any help would be appreciated. I struggle with the ms domain network as I am used to using netware servers/networks.
The security log on the server shows the following errors....
event id 642 and event id 644
nt authority\anonymous logon - acct. locked

if she only logs into one computer, check that computers scheduled tasks. You can even browse to there from your machine. \\computername will bring up scheduled tasks and printers on that machine. If that isnt it look into mapped drives. It's gotta be something that is trying to authenticate her using a wrong password that doesnt start until she logs on.

Most likely theres a scheduled task with her username password and her password was recently changed or mapped drives.
