I have successfully connect apache and tomcat together using mod_jk2.so.
But what's more is I want every user (I am using linux) can run their own jsp and servlet programs in this acount (under public_html) and no need to config for each of them in both the server.xml and workers2.properties files. Actually, is it prossible? If so, how to achieve?
(the case is like php, user can place their own php program under public_html of their own account and can run them. We are no need to config for each of them)

Great! I can do so by the method suggested by pdevp! thx a lot!
but is it: if only want to run jsp, it is no need to create WEB-INF directory under user's public_html directory
and also no need to restart tomcat? Are these procedures only needed when writing servlet or classes?
(cause I can run jsp program either didn't do these procedure!)

Anyway in user directory under public_html also need WEB-INF directory
and need to restart tomcat that for allow jakarta to recreate mod_jk.conf
