Debian apache2 package install. I want to install mod_put.. where is it??

Hi there..

I've installed apache2 via package using apt-get onto a debian 3.1. I also, however, wish to install the mod_put module
so that I can use the http PUT protocol.

please.. SOMEONE tell me where it is?!? :)

At the moment, when I stick Script PUT /blah.php into the vhost file, apache2 won't restart claiming it's an invalid command so
i'm told I need the mod_put module for this.

can I find this module? no.

has it been dropped in favour of mod_dav ?

maybe you should install apachetoollbox?

Or maybe even just try to apt-get mod_put

I don't think that would work because I as far as I know the Debian package was replaced. You would probably have to download the source files from somewhere (wget) but I don't think this would be a great option.

so if the debian package was replaced, why can't I use a Script PUT in my httpd.conf if the functionality should already be incorporated?
