Centos Server Stream AVI File

I've one server install with CentOS and put torrent server.
I've download some movie file in AVI format ...

Now i'm thinking to play AVI file without download it. And only for local network, because my country broadband is worse connection ( 60-70% from 1mb package )

I planning to get user player the video on browser if possible ....

What should i install ?

another thing, can i make the server play directly in browser ? as i know, vlc only streaming like shoutcast.

I think you have to use something called 'Icecast' to do that...
