I would like to know if it is possible to use htaccess mod-rewrite with php in order to do the following
make a domain that looks like this:
1.
http://www.domain.com/cat.php?category=3into one that looks like this:
2.
http://category-name.domain.com/so in essence I would like to link to and advertise domain 2 which would then convert to domain 1, get the variable it would need to get the rest of the information for the category page?
a. is this possible?
b. what would i need to enable / install if it is possible?
c. how difficult / easy would this be to implement?
d. should i ask another question for the code to do this? and can i pm you to answer the question?
