Quick question about cfid and cfsession url variables... please help...

I have a website where when you login you get taken to your profiles page and the url looks like domain.com/profie?cfid=234234234&cfsession=whateverhere.

I'm using session and client management. I have a flash navigation toolbar that is included in every page on my site when the user is logged in. In flash the links go to http://www.seaoflove.com/part_of_site_here. When I click the link in the flash toolbar I get taken to the desired page but cfid and cfsession variables dissapear from the url. Is this is a problem? Let me know. Thanks.

If u need to pass teh CFID & CFSESSION values in the query string of ur flash links

<Cfif isdefined('CFID')>
          load flash movie with values passed in the links !
<cfelse>
          load flash movie without the values passed in the links !
</cfif>

so ur flash movie will have links like this
'http://www.seaoflove.com/part_of_site_here?cfid=' + cfid + '&cfsession=' + cfsession

if u are not using these values - then i guess its pretty much ok .. shouldnt be a problem !

I think you've yet to discover the "addtoken="no"" feature of CFLOCATION.

As long as the cookies exist, it doesn't matter if their values are presented in the URL or not.

I don't, I actually noticed that my problem goes beyond just my flash movie... but into my whole application itself...
