[Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ODBC Socket][Oracle][ODBC]Invalid datetime format.

I just upgraded our CF5 sever to MX7 and we are get this error when selecting certain date fields [Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ODBC Socket][Oracle][ODBC]Invalid datetime format. I found a fix for which is  [NVL2(RESPONSE_DATE,TO_CHAR(RESPONSE_DATE,'dd-Mon-yyyy'),'')] but now I have another problem which is I am trying to use the date column in the where clause. anyone have any solutions?

<cfqueryparam> would be a good start. It takes the data you are trying to use on a query and formats it correctly regardless of the database you are using.

Also I would suggest you update your JRun to updater 6 - if you havent done so already http://www.macromedia.com/support/jrun/updaters.html The jdbc drivers are better than the original CF install..
