The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. Trying to loop through table and display records by date

Hi,

I have a fairly large table (200,000 records).  In the table call Users.  I have several fields.... (The following is just a few of the fields to simplify question)

d_submitted (date submited)
Sex (m, or f)
AgeList (One of 5 age groups...defined by number 0 through 4)

then various fields allocated for purpose of use
purp_internet (can be 1 or 0 )
purp_slide (can be 1 or 0 )

I am using Coldfusion 6.1 and Mysql 4.0.13 (I think)

What I would like to do is to query the table Users and get all the records between two dates (This I Can Do)

I would like to then go through all these records in the above query and get the total number of male users, Female Users, the total number of users from each agelist ( 0 to 4) and the total number of 1's (selected) of the purp_internet and pur_slide fields.  I would like to then display this data and finally export it to excel....

ageLst (0 = group0, 1=Group1, 2=Group2 and so on)

For example the table has the following      
d_submited        Sex        AgeLst     purp_internet     purp_slide
01-01-2006         m            2                 1                     0
01-13-2006         m            2                 1                     0
01-25-2006         f              4                 0                     1
02-03-2006         m            2                 0                     1
02-0702006        f              4                 1                     0

What I would end up with would be something simular to this:

Finally I need this to export to excel.....I have a tag I downloaded from macromedia...but I am not having much luck with it.
I know this is probably a dificult question....Any help even a pointer in the right direction would be appreciated
