| With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Hello, this may seem like a strange issue, but I have two sets of title tags in my page because it is a bi-lingual site. The first set of title tags holds a pageTitle variable with the content based on the language, so it looks like <title>#pageTitle#</title>
. However, we are using a basic verity search and time is of the essence so we decided to forgo v2 indexing (unless someone thinks that would be easier?) - and verity does not recognize the #pageTitle# variable content - it renders "#pageTitle#" as the output in the display results only for the header.cfm file and the rest of the files do not have a title because they are using the header include. Soo...this has led to a dirty fix of putting the title in each page which has both languages in the title bar, and is only to be used for verity. What that leaves me with is 2 title tags in the source code. Is there any way to programatically strip one out? Or if you have any better ideas please feel free to share - unfortunately I need a quick solution because they are going live with the day. Thanks in advance for your time.
