Rob132332:
Your plug-in seems to find/replace in every aspect of Outlook... except CALENDAR?!?!
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI am running Office 2003 with Outlook. I have a particular client's name over 1,000 times spread over 1 year. It turns out I was using the wrong name to identify this particular client and would like to find/replace all the OLD with the NEW name.
Ideally, I was hoping to do this like you would in a large WORD document, simply 'Find' and 'Replace.' But don't see that as an option in Outlook Calendar
Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Well, if no cost is one of your requirements, then there is no way to do this directly in Outlook, besides perhaps using VBA.
I'm not the right person to give you advice on VBA though. There are many VBA gurus on this site, so you may want to post a pointer question to this one with "VBA" in the subject.
OR, since I did not initially know that "no cost" was a requirement, and if you think I've answered your question, you could accept one of my answers and open a new question with the VBA idea.
Thanks.
That's your choice, but the link I pasted above is a valid answer to your question.

Hi - I don't believe there's a way to do it directly in Outlook, but check out this product that appears to accomplish what you're trying to do:
http://www.office-addin s.com/-out look-addin s/find-rep lace-outlo ok.html
Her e's an excerpt from their web site:
"With "Find and Replace" plugin for Outlook you can search and replace in contacts, messages, tasks, notes, reminders and Journal entries.
Find and Replace is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2007, Outlook 2003, Outlook 2002 (XP), and Outlook 2000."
Let me know if that answers your question.
