Have you just applied the MS Patch for NIMDA ?
Look on the technet site and search for the IIS lockdown tool. You can customise the security options and allow ASP to run.
The info is here http://www.microsoft.com/t
and the tool is here
http://www.microsoft.com/D
Hope this helps
Is the default application created?
1. Open ISM in MMC
2. Right click on "Default Website" and choose "properties"
3. Click on the "Home Directoy" tab
4. In the bottom third of the screen, look for "Application Name" in the Application settings section. If the box next to it is greyed out the click the "Configure" button.
5. Stop and Restart IIS.
Good Luck!

hi,
there could be plenty of reasons that this error occurs. do you get any additional info? error 'code', further detail?
do you have execute permissions allowed? do you have 'application settings' configured?
more info will be useful.
cheers.
