The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. W32Minda.A@mm virus problems

My server was hit by the Minda virus. Fortunately, I was able to get it back to an operational state with Norton AntiVirus Pro. Although NAV has done a through scan of all of the files on my machine and the server seems to be running fine operationally, I am still getting pop ups on my screen from NAV saying that a file called "TFTP220" (or any range of numbers but always starting with TFTP) are infected and in the following directory:

c:\Program files\common files\system\msadc

When I look at the files, they have 0 length. So I delete them and a little while later, another one will pop up. I don't know where they are coming from. Does anyonw know what might be causing this?

On the server I am running NT4.0 (sp6a), IIS 4. I also run an FTP server and an email server. I have shut down everything (that I could and still run the computer) but I still get the pop ups. The files don't do anything or corrupt my system, I just need to know what is creating them and putting them in that directory so I can stop it.
