The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

SBS ISA running IIS i have an IIS issue im having trouble with

Ok

I was using a little usb modem through btopenworld, when this was configured everything worked fine but now i have changed to netgear (for security reasons) everything works apart from telepeople.com from the LAN. i can ping the ip address and the domain name but the browser hates it.

I have a router netgear (dg814) this is used to provide brodband to my SBS server NAT is on and im forwarding all the ports i require. The SBS in turn provides internet to the small company.

I am hosting the website telepeople.com on this sbs server, external access is no problem at all ie if i try the site from outside the building, but internal access is not working here is what i get in order

1) www.tlepeople.com raises error "the page cannot be displayed"
2)localhost raises the OWA default hello and welcome that I have configured
3)the ipaddress for telepeople.com raises google which reports on its search

infact OWA does not work from the internal LAN either.

The netgear has ipaddress 10.1.0.1 on the LAN and dishes out DHCP 2-5 on subnet 255.0.0.0 . the only machine plugged into it is the sbs server which occupies 10.1.0.2, the netgear is configured to port forward to .2 all ports like http smtp imap etc etc  Now the SBS provides internet to the internal LAN on the other nic the address pool and subnet is 192.168.0.1-254 255.255.255.0.

Can anybody help me? Im really stuck at the mo. It is very important the LAN can access the site to post jobs etc.

I think its some sort of dns or adress table issue

the ISA LAT only has one entry and thats the ip address range of the LAN.

Someone must know how to fix this? Its prob something really simple.
