I don't personally own a D-Link router, but the process should be the same. You need to configure the router to forward requests to port 80 to the local IP of the computer hosting the web server. For example, my web server is on 192.168.1.100, so I set Port Forwarding to forward requets to that IP. Make sure IIS has the IP address on (All Unassigned), too. If you're using a firewall, make sure you tell it NOT to block port 80 or you will not be able to access the site. This step is often overlooked and leads to frusteration.
