Question
ADODB connection thru IIS
hi,
i get an error in my ASP page when i try to run the following script:
Server.CreateObject("ADODB
The error I get is:
Server object error 'ASP 0178 : 80070005'
Server.CreateObject Access Error
I am able to create ADODB.Connection outside the IIS environment (for ex: thru VBS) and within IIS i am able to create other objects (for ex: Scripting.Dictionary), but not other ADODB objects.
Looks like permission issues - what should be the steps to fix this?

Add IUSR_<machinename> and IWAM_<machinename> read permission in the folder where your ADODB dll is located.
