HELP!! IIS

Hi,

I have just finished writing a small web app and i have hosted it on my pc (IP 192.168.0.48)

when other people on my network try to connect to the site they either type http://dom-r or http://192.168.0.48 into IE.  After a few seconds, they get a result saying that the web page cannot be found.

I am very new to this and this is my first web app, so any help you guys can gve would be very greatfully received.

You didn't state what your machine was, so I'll assume XP.......do you have the XP SP2 firewall turned on? This will block inbound port 80 connections.

You have to go into the properties of the website in IIS, then click the documents tab and add the name of the file you are trying to access or change your document name to one of the default presetup document names. Then you will be able to view your webpage.
