Using the following:
Windows 2003 SP1
Exchange 2003 SP1
IIS 6.0 + Certificate generated from my internal CA, CA is added to "Trusted Root" via GPO.
Certificate created and installed via steps located at this URL: http://www.isaserver.org/p
(only the "Generating the web site..." and "Form a request" steps).
After all this, I can browse to http://machinename and get the Under Construction page, but when inputting https://machinename I get a nice ol' 404 error page.
Any ideas?

you need to explicitly specify the site header (as set in the certificate).. and the IP address of the site in the site propreties (bind it to the ip).. advanced settings.. after that the certificate will work but you might get a warning if the ca root authority can't be contacted (your certificate server) to check the cert.. this is not a major problem since your traffic is now encrypted..
