Active Directory web interface toolkit

We're looking for a web application that will function as an interface into active directory.

We would like source code for an open source app, but will buy a product if its solves our problems.

This application will be used by users to add them selves into differenet active directory groups. The groups will be restricted to a know set of Active Directory groups created for use by this application.

We have come accross systems like www.namescape.com,identitymanagement.com but are looking for a library that will act as a starting point for our development.
