Regional settings and .NET programming
We are running windows 2003 sp2 with internet explorer 7. All our pc's are running xp sp1 with internet explorer version 6.
When we were installing the server, I change the regional settings to be based in Australia however didnt change the .default user settings. We followed this up with an install of IIS and .NET framework.
We have since forced the settings to be applied to the .DFAULT user.
In the registry the user accounts
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18 has the regional setting of Australia
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-19 has the regional setting of USA
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20 has the regional setting of USA
The .NET programmers are now having some problems with the date in the programming of the website. They are querying whether the problem is related to the regional settings and the IUSR_ or IWAM accounts?
Unfortunately I know nothing of the .NET programming and dont particular want to rebuild the server to prove them right or wrong.
Any idea's and thanks in advance.
