I have a question about the product that Novell delivers with Iprint that is called Iprint Map tool. I really love this product and also our users. It has never been so easy to install printers for our users via the map of the office building.
Heres comes the problem, we are now leaving the Novell platform and plan to run only an Microsoft environment. So what does Microsoft deliver thats the same as iprint Map tool, nothing!!
I have not found anything that even looks like it.
We are looking on using Visio with maps that we put link intom, but it is not sok simple. Pdf document with links in is also one thing we discussed, but i does not work so good.
So please help, does anyone know something about a simulary solution for Microsoft printing.
Regards Roger

Hi,
I'm not aware of any solution other than the ones you mentioned. Nothing really "visual", but if you publish your printers in AD, and give as much information as possible about each of them, it will be easy for people to locate a printer in their neighborhood. Unfortunately, not visually.
