A DNS entry cannot use a subfolder (real or virtual) as a target.
virtualdirectory.domain.co
That is why in IIS you can only add a host header name to the root of a website, not a subfolder.

They are called subdomains:
m/ /
Two years back I did it for tripotel.com. Look at
http://chicago.tripotel.co
http://boston.tripotel.com
As far as I remember we had different virtual directory for each subdomain, Try to see if your hosting provider can give you any hint.
