I am using windows vista ultimate, i need to host my personel website from my pc , i do have a real ip and my domain name too is registered. I did tried to host a web site from my pc but its giving me some error, when i ever i type my domain name it goes to IIS7 defaul page. Can some one post the details steps required to host a website using windows vista.

Perhaps you are not specifying the URL containing the opening page of your site. If you omit the page, IIS will normally direct to default.aspx (unless modified in the ISM for the site's default page(s)).
Altenatively, change your sites home page to be default.aspx instead of whatever it is. Or modify the existing default.aspx to redirect to your home page or be a menu page to have a link to your page.
