Exhchagne 2007, OWA displaying in Text only (almost like an FTP site)
Our OWA 2007 is displaying text only (like an ftp site).
I found several articles on web pertaining to mapping and older versions of exchange but nothing for exchange 2007 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/289869)
I have restarted IIS several times. Performed a reset /noforce.. Restarted all exchange services (but not the server).
I did install Exchange Rollup 4 last night (and several Windows updates) but everything was working for several hours after installation but when we arrived to work today, it was no longer working. This is also affecting out ActiveSync.
Does anyone have an idea of what I can try to fix this issue ?
Thank you all for you help
Liam

I don't believe that removing the rollup will help. Although it's hard to say, since we haven't determined the cause of the problem. On balance, though, I am inclined to believe that it will not make a difference.
Which URL are you using for owa?
http://server/owa
or
http://server/exchange

Okay. If you don't get any more suggestions, then you should try the Remove-OWAVirtualDirectory , followed by the Add-OWAVirtualDirectory . I've used them both, and they work as expected. Have a look at the links above in order to determine the correct parameters for your setup.
If you wanted to try it, the commands will be something like
RemoveOWAVirtualDirectory "owa (Default Web Site)"
and
New-OWAVirtualDirectory -OwaVersion Exchange2007 -VirtualDirectoryType Mailboxes -Name "owa" -WebSite "Default Web Site"
RemoveOWAVirtualDirectory "owa (Default Web Site)"
and
New-OWAVirtualDirectory -OwaVersion Exchange2007 -VirtualDirectoryType Mailboxes -Name "owa" -WebSite "Default Web Site"

Thanks you I will try them , but one more question first :)
Is there a way to backup (or list) the current settings ? So that If I totally mess things up, I can readd the settings as they were ?
I really appreciate your help,

Hey So I did the remove and readd the OWA virtual Dir's..
Now when I try to access OWA I get: 440 login timeout.
I had to modify your suggested CMDlets to work..
These are what I used to get them working:
Remove-OWAVirtualDirectory "owa (Default Web Site)"
New-OWAVirtualDirectory -OwaVersion:Exchange2007 -Name "owa" -WebSite "Default Web Site"
Now is 440 easrier to resolve that the weird text site ? All help is appreactieed and welcomed.
Thanks

The 440 error can probably be fixed if you disable the Forms-based Auth login page on that OWA VDir in Exchange Management Console. Other than that, without disabling FBA, it is one of those errors that no-one apparently has an answer to.

Disabling forms based did not help..
I also think it a permissions isuse but why would I be getting a construction page internally when going to : https://servername ?
Things are getting desperate now.. Any other ideas ?
Thanks for your help this far :)

O.K. got OWA working by adjusting persmissions on all directories, I really not sure which permission finally resolved the issue but it is now workingn.. Activesync however is not working :( I will create a new post for that if needed.
Thanks for your help,
Liam

Well done on fixing it. The 'Under Construction' page you see is normal - it's the built-in Default Web Site.

Do you think that removing the Rollup will fix this issue for now and I can research and test at the weekend when users do not need OWA and ActiveSync, As you can tell this is slight emergency :)
I appreciate your help,
Thanks
