Hosting multiple web pages...

Asked by moransa in Microsoft IIS Web Server, Web Application Hosting, Web Hosting

I'm a hardware guy but I don't know much about web stuff.  I'm hosting several simple html pages from my server at home, mainly to learn more about it.  The first, let's call it mydomain.com, works fine, but I added a second, mydomain.net and it points at the first every time.  Initially, IIS would not start the site because it was on the same port, so I changed the port and opened it on my firewall.  In the IIS properties of this site, under documents, the first one is pointing at the correct folder and html file.  I went to godaddy, made sure forwarding was disabled, and everything is good to go.  I have deleted this site and started over, but I always get the same result.  Start Free Trial
