SSL Cert Install: Original Request Web Site Deleted

I just got my godaddy .crt file for a new cert, however the IIS web site that generated the certreq.txt CSR file is gone. How can I install this cert?

Did you just delete the certreq.txt file or the certificate request from IIS also ?

If you just deleted the text file then you can still install the SSL on the domain for which csr was created.and If you deleted the site then you'll need to recreate it andwill have to generate CSR again and will have to get the SSL reissued.

You may not be out of luck.  Check the following KB article and see if there may be light at the end of the tunnel...  :-)

Thanks much, this bailed me out of a jam after I deleted the temp website that my new, professional CA cert had been issued to.  I was trying to go from self-generated cert to CA cert for OWA/RPC over HTTP following Network Solution's documentation and got a step ahead of myself.
