HI, I have indexing services started.. Front page extension component does not even show up in the windows components area at all. I've looked everywhere for it. Thats why I thought I was going crazy..

IIS6 - Win2k3R2SP2x64 - What Happend to Front Page Extensions!?
I setup a new server running IIS 6.
OS is Windows 2003 R2, SP2, x64 version running IIS 6 and ASP.net 2.0 and 3.5
My question:
What happened to front page extensions in IIS for web pages? For example when I go to All Tasks, there is no setup of front page options available there. I want to convert my old webserver to the new one but this issue worries me.
Now, its quite possible Im an idiot and missed something. If so, dont be shy I can take it.
Advise please. Thanks!

Is your indexing service started?
Did you install front page extension component along with IIS?
(appwiz.cpl=>add/remove windows components=>Application Server=>IIS=>Frontpage Server Extensions should have a check mark against it.
