IIS internal page display issue

Asked by shibumi1224 in Microsoft IIS Web Server, SBS Small Business Server

Tags: Microsoft, Windows Server SBS 2003, 2003 SP2

We are running an SBS 2003 SP2 server and one of our software providers needed to create a web interface for thier software that is accessable to the outside world. They originaly created this by over writing the default website on the SBS server but I have since asked them to make it a site under the default domain, I have changed the settings on the default back as best i can.

When they configured thier website it took down several of the default sites that SBS uses to display information (error 400). The ones in particular that I have noticed are within the Server Managment window and they are "Monitoring and Reporting" and 'Backup". Also when I receive my server reports via email the only thing in the body of the email is "BAD HOSTNAME".

My question is how do I reset IIS back to "default settings or how can I manually resolve these errors?Start Free Trial
