The function we are calling only seems to be able to write the uploaded file to the local C: drive of the web server.
We need it to save the file to a network location.
We have tried mapping drive letters - the function cannot read the mapped drive letters.
We have tried virtual folders in IIS to point to a network location, the function prefixes the virtual folder with c:\ and cannot find the path.
My question is this :- is there a way to creat a logical folder on the c: drive that points to a physical folder on a network drive, much the same way as virtual folders in IIS?

Not unless you are pointing to a NAS or SAN.
IIS can't write to a network location, typically.
Is the file transfer time-sensitive, or could you specify a directory that could be reached via a network path or an FTP process on the ultimate destination server and then schedule a job to pick up the files every 5/30/60 minutes?
